Their Mission
Living Streams Ranch is a Christian Non-Profit Organization founded on the love of Jesus Christ. In faith, we open our hearts and the ranch to children and women so they might find hope and healing through equine related activities in God’s creation, Bible Study and healing prayer.
Their Vision
Living Streams Ranch seeks to see every person have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, healed from the past, equipped to begin a new life and given hope for the future. Their goal is to share the gospel, while providing a place where people feel safe and accepted just as they are. They pray the ranch will be a place where individuals who come hurting will feel supported through life’s difficulties, and leave each week seeing their true identity, beauty and value as a loved child created by God.
Living Streams Ranch ministers to women teens and children, who have experienced trauma in their lives, such as emotional, physical and sexual abuse, addiction, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and grief. The program is 10 weeks long. Each week they attend a 2 hour one on one session with a volunteer session leader. They offer three, ten-week sessions a year. To date that have helped over 700 ranchers with several being baptized.
Ways you can help during the Mission of the Month:
Prayer: Pick up a prayer card from the mission table and pray for the ministry. And/or …. Pray for a specific rancher and their session leader. Contact the church office at jarrettownumoffice@gmail.com and we’ll provide the names of those who need your prayers.
Sharing your time/talents: Do you have experience in masonry, electric, woodworking, general contracting or landscaping skills? The ranch is always looking for volunteers to help when projects arise during the year.
Donate: All women and children attend the sessions offered at Living Streams Ranch for free. It costs roughly $1000.00 per rancher to attend a ten-week session. All donations we collect during the month of June will be put toward helping defray these costs. Please make your check payable to JUMC and in the memo section indicate Living Streams Ranch.
